The savage and barbaric attacks of the Zionist occupation authority has started again against the Al-Aqsa Mosque during the past few days and continues to escalate.

It clearly includes malicious plans targeting the first of the two Kiblah’s and the third of Islam’s Holy Mosques to divide it over time between Muslims and Jews, in flagrant violation and in complete disregard to the feelings of both the Arab and Islamic nations.

The Egyptian Revolutionary Council stresses that the Zionist entity would not have dared to carry out such disgraceful violations without the backing and support of Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi’s coup regime and the shameful silence and lack of action on the part of the Arab regimes.

The ERC calls on Arab states, especially Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Morocco and the Arab League to take up their responsibilities to deter the Zionist entity from carrying out violations against one of the most important sanctities for Muslims and Arabs.

Ahmed Al-Sharqawi, the official spokesperson for the ERC, said, “The pace of Israeli violations accelerated after a few days of the re-opening of the embassy of the Zionist entity in Cairo and talk about the warmth of relations between it and the authority of the military coup in the largest Arab country. The strength of these relations is increased through Cairo’s willingness to show hostility against the Palestinian resistance with the closure of the Rafah land crossing and the abduction of injured Palestinians on Egyptian territory, the destruction of villages and towns adjacent to the Gaza Strip and the forced displacement of Egyptian citizens from their lands”.

Al-Sharqawi stressed that, “the Zionist entity would not have carried out these attacks had it not been given support by an ally in Cairo to justify its attacks and assist in all its steps, including confirmation by Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi’s regime that it is working against the interests of both the Arab and Islamic nations and is also working against the interests of the Egyptian people with disregard to its resources and interests”.

He added, “the Egyptian Revolutionary Council warns that the continuation of the Israeli attacks on Al-Aqsa Mosque will lead the region to a state of overwhelming chaos unless the Zionist entity is reined in and is halted from its practice of attacking the sanctities of Muslims and the Al-Aqsa Mosque”.
